Second Chef-Tourism Property-Remote Tasmania
We are seeking an experienced Second Chef for this busy property located in remote Tasmania.
The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain a clean kitchen while utilising their excellent knowledge of and passion for food to make great meals.
This role would suit candidates who have a love of the outdoors who are wanting to experience a peaceful, tranquil location in the pristine wilderness.
The role is a live in position in a remote, wilderness location and therefore requires full relocation for the duration of the season. The role is not located in or near any city.
Immediate Start
Contract until early June (with possible extension)
THIS ROLE DOES COUNT FOR A WORKING HOLIDAY VISA EXTENSION
Package: Casual role
- Mon-Fri: $35.15 per hour
- Sat: $42.18 per hour
- Sun: $49.21 per hour
- Split shifts
- Free Accommodation – Own room in a share staff house
- Cooking facilities in the house

Responsibilities
- Assist with prep and cooking of meals
- Maintain a clean kitchen
- Run the kitchen on Head Chef’s days off
- Work as part of a close knit team taking direction from the Head Chef
- Other duties as required

- No Pets are permitted on site
- NO Mobile reception, Basic Internet Only
- NO Television reception
