The Nursing and Midwifery Education Team, Hospitals South, forms part of the larger professional service for nursing and midwifery. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated team, supporting your skills and knowledge development in a professional education capacity.
The Role:
This position is part of the broader Nursing and Midwifery Education Service for Hospitals South. It contributes to the education, learning, and development outcomes of the nursing workforce and holds the operational work portfolio of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (based at the Repatriation Campus of Hospitals South). The role involves close collaboration with operational service areas to develop education and learning pathways.
You will need:
* Demonstrated high-level knowledge, skills, and clinical expertise, with the ability to lead nursing practice through Practice Development principles.
* Ability to apply facilitation skills, learning, and evaluation strategies in clinical settings to foster a person-centered culture, including implementing and evaluating professional development, education, and training activities.
* Sound knowledge of contemporary education, health, and professional development issues and their impact on the knowledge and skill requirements of the nursing workforce.
Details of Appointment:
Fixed-term, part-time, day worker position, working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Note: This selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies for up to 12 months from the date of publication.
Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (Pro-rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Additional allowances, such as a Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10%, may be available based on qualifications.
