Reporting Structure
Reports to: CFO
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing/Support timely and accurate sales and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Overseeing/Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including bank and account reconciliations
* Assist with month‑end closing tasks, including journal entries and financial statement preparation
* Manage/Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, Channel P&L and financial projections
* Contribute to project management related to channel operations and performance
* Maintain accurate records across all General Ledger accounts
* Overseeing/Support end‑to‑end payroll processing (weekly/monthly), including superannuation payments
* Collaborate with internal teams to align financial processes with business operations
* Support the implementation and optimisation of financial systems, tools, and process improvements
* Tax Compliance – BAS/ Payroll Tax/ IAS
* Systems Management – MYOB, Amazon, Shopify, Phocas
* Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and administrative support to the CFO
* Continuously seek ways to improve financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
* Apply and promote best practices in financial management and internal controls
Part‑Time Options
* 3 full days (8 hour/day) – Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
* 5 – 5.5 hours/day Monday to Friday
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* CPA or CA qualified preferred
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role
* Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial regulations
* Permanent residency in Australia (non‑permanent residents will not be considered)
* Intermediate to Advanced in Excel
* Experience with MYOB Acumatica, or similar accounting software desirable
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
