The Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial accounting and administrative services to meet legislative requirements and to assist the HHS to have a strong financial accounting framework in place.

• Salary range: $108,735 to $118,307 p.a. (AO5)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus options may be available

• Possession of a qualification relevant to business and specifically accounting and registration with an accounting professional body is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge in health service delivery is desirable but not mandatory.
• Highly regarded: Ability to provide effective and authoritative specialist advice and recommendations in relation to a financial accounting function within a large multidisciplinary organisation.
• Highly regarded: Expert knowledge of contemporary financial management.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
