Key Duties and Responsibilities
o Leading business analysis activities for high-priority projects and strategic initiatives.
o Undertaking discovery activities to understand business needs, define user and system requirements, and inform service or system improvements.
o Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, validate and document requirements, facilitate alignment, and manage expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle.
o Analysing current (‘as-is’) business processes and developing improved (‘to-be’) processes and service models to support user-centred outcomes.
o Identifying and articulating business challenges, risks, benefits, and impacts associated with proposed changes or solutions.
o Contributing to agile, multi-disciplinary teams to support the iterative design and implementation of fit-for-purpose solutions.
o Translating complex or technical concepts into clear, accessible language appropriate to a range of audiences.
o Supporting continuous improvement of delivery methods and service design capability through knowledge sharing and active contribution.
o Providing guidance, mentoring and technical leadership to uplift business analysis capability within the team and across the agency.
Qualifications, Accreditations And Experience
o Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality business outcomes.
o Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or a similar professional body is highly regarded.
o Experience supporting digital transformation projects and service or system redesign is desirable.
o Understanding of modern technology concepts and digital service environments.
