About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team. This permanent position involves ensuring systems and processes comply with security policies and that security incidents are detected and managed.
This role requires a strong understanding of IT security systems, practices, and standards as well as experience in using SIEM, vulnerability management tools, intrusion detection, and other security systems.
The successful candidate will have solid technical knowledge and be able to maintain security audit records, lead investigations into local security incidents, ensure local security systems are configured effectively, and review requests for change from a security perspective.

* Maintain security audit records to ensure compliance with security policies
* Lead investigations into local security incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian Citizenship required to attain Baseline Clearance
* A minimum of 3 years+ industry experience in an information security function
* Solid technical knowledge of current IT security systems, practices, and standards
* Experience in using SIEM, vulnerability management tools, intrusion detection, and other security systems
