Job Role Overview:
This position requires comprehensive responsibility for the application engineering, programming, and troubleshooting of assigned projects in a data centre environment. Individuals must adhere to established quality standards.
* Perform in-depth analysis of plans, functional specifications, and contracts to determine project requirements.
* Manage project aspects including estimating, design, tracking, start-up, and planning phases.
* Provide input, reviews, and prepare detailed documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify issues on product lines to ensure timely delivery of projects.
* May provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning, execution, and database management.
* Install, configure, and support network systems and equipment.
* Collaborate with Project Managers on formal project reports and perform other duties as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
* Solid knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to electronic security systems, building automation systems, and fire alarm systems.
* Advanced programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
Requirements:
* Min 2+ years relevant experience in the security industry.
* Experience working in a Data Centre environment is essential.
* Min Bachelor's Degree required.
* Product-specific certifications preferred; applicable industry-specific and/or IT certifications required.
* Australian driver's license with a clean record is mandatory.
