Field Service Technician - Agricultural Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.
This is a full-time position with a strong focus on servicing, diagnostics, and repairs of agricultural and earthmoving equipment including tractors, telehandlers, wheel loaders, excavators, utility vehicles, stationary engines, generators and road machinery—both in our workshop and out in the field.
* Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, be able to work autonomously as well as part of a close-knit team across different locations. They will be responsible for performing pre-delivery inspections, scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs. Additionally, they will undertake field service work and breakdown support, using the latest tools and techniques for diagnostics and fault-finding. The role also involves evaluating and road testing of vehicles, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
* Key Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold relevant trade qualifications in vehicle or diesel mechanics, with experience working in field service roles. A strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability are essential, along with excellent oral and written communication skills. A forklift license would be advantageous but not essential. We are looking for someone who can work independently and confidently, with trustworthiness and reliability being key attributes.
