Responsibilities
* Lead CALHN's enterprise risk and compliance teams; support shaping safe, high-quality health care through strong governance and processes. Build systems, guide teams, and partner with staff, patients and consumers to embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Develop and maintain risk and compliance frameworks
* Act as a custodian for the risk and compliance processes including supporting the organisation to deliver the processes
* Drive quality improvement across governance and safety systems
* Lead projects, programs and research with strategic impact
* Mentor and guide a skilled team of risk and compliance staff
* Advise leaders and stakeholders on risk, compliance and assurance
About You
You are a confident leader ready to shape and guide health services with impact.
Graduate or post-graduate qualification in health, management, or related field
Proven leadership and strong skills in communication and problem solving
Experience leading projects, services, or teams through complex change
Knowledge of health legislation, quality improvement, and risk governance
Skilled in report writing, presentations, and making strategic decisions
