18 month Parental Relief Contract as a Full Time HR Advisor
at our Corporate Office located in Homebush West.
Our team provides HR & payroll services to over 800 corporate employees & managers, along with providing our expertise to over 500 independent Franchisee companies through the provision of HR recommendations on a broad range of matters.
Your New Role
As an integral member of our HR Advisory Team, you will:
* Share your expertise with Franchisees across 195 Retail Complexes nationally by providing recommendations on various people matters.
* Provide HR services and support to Corporate Franchisor Office employees and Managers
* Serve as a first point of contact for all HR related inquiries / matters received via both phone and the email enquiries.
* Provide recommendations to retail franchisees and our stakeholders on employee relations matters and end-to-end case management to support, empower and drive best people practice in line with legislative requirements and Company Policy.
Our HR Advisory team provides strategic and timely recommendations to our business stakeholders in relation to the management of all things people, including:
* Award interpretation
* Employment Law obligations
* Performance Management
* Grievance Handling and Conflict Resolution
* Workers Compensation
* Recruitment
* Payroll
You will be provided with many opportunities to contribute to HR strategies via the development and delivery of HR process improvements, training, communications, compliance initiatives and general HR projects to support our commitment to continuous improvement in people strategies and people experiences.
Your Skills and Experience:
Proven HR Generalist experience across a diverse range of HR functions – a minimum of 2 years' experience at a HR Advisory level is essential.
You will:
* Hold a tertiary qualification in IR/ER, HR or other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
* Have proven generalist experience in providing advice across a range of employee relations matters.
* Be commercially astute with a proactive work style and genuine passion for people and driving outcomes.
* Have exceptional interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills with a consultative, pragmatic approach to the delivery of HR solutions and recommendations.
* Have a genuine passion for HR and business improvement.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience working with the General Retail Industry (will be highly regarded although not essential).
