We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer - Design Integration to join the Hunter Class Frigate Program. Working as part of the HCF Engineering Lifecycle Management team, the Design Integration Engineer will be responsible for supporting successful progression of ship Design Zones through the Zonal Review and Modification Package programs.
Key responsibilities 
- Organise and co-ordinate aspects of engineering activity within the Hunter Class Frigate Program that enable the successful progression of ship Design Zones through the Zonal Review and Modification Package programs.
- From assigned assurance systems and design tools, deliver evidence into the various internal design reviews that empower the design zone leads to sell the HCF design to the review chairs.
- Interface closely with delivery domains to identify and resolve cross domain issues affecting progress through the zonal reviews.
- Support design zone leads to effectively manage risks and priorities in the leadup to design reviews.
- Support the delivery of detail design engineering enablers.
- Identify opportunities to improve assurance systems and design tools, with the objective of optimising the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of outputs.
- Enable HCF Engineering through the development and delivery of training and references for assurance systems and design tools.
- In fulfilment of the above duties, utilise HCF management tools including Jira, Windchill, Codebeamer and Tableau.
About YOU 
- A degree in an engineering discipline
- 3-5 years of engineering experience, preferably in a Defence workplace
- Demonstrated experience within the Systems Engineering discipline, with an understanding of the engineering design lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously
- Ability to work with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated self-motivation and a proactive approach to progressing assigned tasks
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
