Other responsibilities include:Providing expert consultancy and clinical leadership aligned with WSLHD and NSW Health.Leading education programs to upskill staff in acute deterioration and policy application.Overseeing quality improvement, incident reviews, and accreditation readiness (Standard 8).Developing and updates clinical policies, ensuring best-practice models of care.Driving research translation and performance monitoring to enhance patient outcomes.How to ApplyApply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential Requirements:Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of AustraliaSelection Criteria:Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a minimum of five (5) years of postgraduate clinical experience in acute care nursing.Demonstrated leadership in clinical governance, policy development, and accreditation processes, including expertise in NSQHS Standard 8 (Recognising and Responding to Acute Deterioration), CERS management, and incident review.Proven ability to lead education and training programs, identifying clinical learning needs and delivering competency-based education for nursing and allied health staff.Extensive experience in quality improvement and research, with the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based practice initiatives that enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills, including the ability to interpret key performance indicators, conduct audits, and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence multidisciplinary teams, executive stakeholders, and external organisations to drive clinical excellence.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a complex health environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of patient care, workforce development, and service planning.Advanced information technology skills, including experience with electronic medical records (eMR), incident reporting systems, and data analytics tools to support clinical governance and decision-making.Requisition ID: REQ565475 Applications Close: 21st May 2025Need more information ?Discover more about theapplication process .Review the detailed Position Description for insights into role requirements and criteria.
