Location
Raffles, a 95‑bed residential aged care facility located near the beaches of the Southern Gold Coast. It is close to several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a wide range of health and community services.
Role
Enrolled Nurse – Medication Endorsed. You will be responsible for the provision of high‑quality care to our residents, facilitating and supporting their continued enjoyment of life within their level of capability.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Registered Nurse with resident assessments and care plans.
* Implement care plans for each resident.
* Accurately report and record information relevant to the residents' care and condition.
* Deliver a holistic concept of care, utilising the 'Person‑Centred Care' approach.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated skills in wound management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care.
* Demonstrated skills in the collection of clinical assessment data, problem solving and decision making, with the ability to refer or seek assistance.
* Ability to use technology relevant to the delivery of care services.
* Understanding of the financial link between service delivery and funding framework (ACFI).
* Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication, conflict management and negotiation skills.
* Analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills necessary to manage varying and/or conflicting stakeholder demands.
* Proven ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a highly regulated and complex environment.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Current nursing registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (essential).
* Endorsement for medication (essential).
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.).
* NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
