Developer looking for a new HSE Safety Officer to work with the Site Manager on our Highrise Projects.
We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in Midrise Apartments.
This is a Contract role with long-term work in the pipeline that can progress into full-time for the right candidate.
HSE Safety Officer to join our Project/Development division
We have developments under construction in Gold Coast and Brisbane and are seeking a capable HSE Safety Officer that can deliver these projects.
Responsibilities
Ensure WHS processes are carried out effectively
Coordinate and manage safety related tasks
Provide support and advice to site teams
Ensure safety documentation is up to date
Pre starts, inductions, site walks.
Risk identification & assessment, ensuring regulations are met
Carry out health and safety audits and workplace inspections
Training of staff
Requirements
Minimum Cert IV in WHS
5+ years of HSE experience within commercial construction
Previous experience working on high-rise construction projects valued $50M+
Experience working for a head contractor is essential
Be able to develop and maintain relationships
Have a good understanding of current legislation, regulations & building codes
Be articulate, well presented and a clear communicator
