Role Overview
Support the delivery of new A&G products and services, as well as enhancements of existing products. Design, develop, and execute tests to meet requirements and deliver high‑quality products in accordance with the Group Test Strategy. Contribute to the Testing Community of Practice by providing support and input into testing techniques, processes, and guidelines. Support Test Analysts through pairing, peer reviews, and guidance on testing techniques and practices, test planning, test design, traceability, execution, and risk identification. Collaborate with E2E team members such as Developers, PO, BA, SME, and Automation Analysts for acceptance criteria, estimations, test coverage, and risks.
Accountabilities
* Represent testing and contribute to all Flow Delivery workshops (e.g., concept, planning, estimation)
* Collaborate with Test Analysts, Developers, SM, POs, BAs, and Business SMEs from concept to delivery
* Collaborate and pair with all members of the E2E team to define and break down Acceptance Criteria
* Collaborate and pair with members of the E2E team to produce test estimates, assumptions, dependencies, and risks for each initiative
* Collaborate and pair with Test leads and Test Analysts to produce a comprehensive test coverage and traceability matrix
* Produce Test Plan/Test Strategy for projects within the own team and for projects with multiple application dependencies
* Support the Test Lead in coordinating and facilitating test planning across multiple teams
* Maintain a good understanding of functional and non‑functional quality attributes
* Understand requirements and break them down into individual actions and tasks for delivery
* Upskill and learn associated business rules, guidelines, and applications
* Plan and design test cases to ensure that requirements are met, ensuring test coverage takes into consideration positive, negative, and regression impacts
* Collaborate with Test Analysts and Business SMEs to build and define regression suites and ensure they are maintained
* Execute tests using a variety of testing techniques; identify, raise, and retest defects
* Deliver test reporting such as test progress, test summary, and defect reports
* Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
* Adhere to the defect management process
* Learn and understand the impacts of defects raised
* Participate in root‑cause analysis
* Provide pre‑live and production deployment testing support
* Contribute to the Community of Practice
* Lead the application of testing techniques to contribute to improved quality (e.g., risk‑based testing, BDD, TDD, 3 Amigos)
* Support onboarding of new team members
* Support Test Analysts with skills and capability uplift
* Work closely with Developers and Automation Analysts to identify automation opportunities
* Support the Test Lead with coordinating testing activities from estimations, planning, reporting, and UAT
Qualifications & Experience
* ISTQB Certified
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Test Analyst
* Demonstrated experience in supporting junior Test Analysts
* Demonstrated experience in creating test plans, test traceability matrices, and test reports
* Experience in educating peers and stakeholders in different types of testing
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum Continuous Delivery and agile testing
* Demonstrated use of testing techniques such as risk‑based testing, BDD, and TDD
* Understanding of the testing pyramid
* High level of knowledge of test practices, tools, and techniques
* Excellent communication skills with technical staff, end‑users, and management
* Ability to coach, mentor, and pair with Test Analysts to uplift their capabilities
* Skill in developing clear objectives and establishing work priorities and time frames
* Strong problem‑solving, time and resource management, and ability to work independently with limited supervision

Toowong office – close to a variety of public transport, with excellent parking, secure bike storage, showers, outdoor spaces, and modern collaborative areas. Conveniently located 4 km from the city, close to retail, restaurants, and amenities. The role is available at any of our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast locations. North Lakes and Kawana offices also offer attractive options for those who prefer views of the water or proximity to the beach.
