About The Opportunity
As a Senior Digital Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality digital solutions that elevate customer experiences and drive meaningful business outcomes that matter. You'll bring strong technical expertise, a commitment to innovation, and strive for excellence in everything you build. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll lead by example and where necessary mentor junior developers and shape a culture that values collaboration and learning. You will champion best practices and help to create a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
You Will
* Architect and deliver robust, scalable web applications that power meaningful digital experiences for our members.
* Develop elegant, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code while championing modern development practices
* Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to bring intuitive, visually engaging, and responsive interfaces to life using the latest front-end technology.
* Integrate and optimise data flows from diverse back-end services and APIs
* Lead by example in code reviews, set high-quality benchmarks, and actively participate in the team's technology direction and architectural decisions.
* Inspire, coach, and empower fellow developers—fostering a collaborative environment where continuous learning and technical excellence thrive.
* Stay abreast of emerging web technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact and championing their adoption where they add value.
* Engage in technical discussions and workshops, presenting ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
About You
* 5+ years of software development experience, where you've not only written code but architected solutions that solve real-world problems.
* Proven success delivering complex digital solutions in agile environments — navigating technical hurdles, collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders, and driving innovation from initial concept through to deployment.
* Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET (C#), JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS, following W3C standards and MVC patterns to produce scalable and reliable web applications.
* Skilled in using Git/GitHub (including GitHub Copilot) and integrating with REST APIs and contemporary client-side frameworks such as VueJS.
* Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
* Passion for user-centric design and a keen eye for detail, consistently delivering polished, intuitive digital solutions.
Highly Desirable
* A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Experience with Azure DevOps, Optimizely (or similar .NET CMS), and responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap.
* Knowledge of VueJS, Figma, and emerging agentic AI development.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and related best practices.
