Project Manager Role
This role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects that align with national priorities whilst working within established government frameworks.
* Oversee project delivery ensuring completion on time within scope and in compliance with government standards.
* Lead cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes aligned with organisational goals and strategic objectives.
* Develop and manage project delivery plans, timelines and milestones using government frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2 Agile).
* Monitor and report on project progress, risks and issues to program managers, stakeholders and senior leadership.
* Ensure adherence to government policies, regulatory compliance protocols and quality standards.
* Facilitate stakeholder engagement and collaboration to ensure project outcomes meet user needs.
Key Qualifications and Skills
* A minimum of 5 years proven experience in project/program delivery within complex organisational environments.
* Relevant bachelors degree and/or certifications (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner Agile PM PMP or equivalent).
* Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, leadership and team management across diverse groups.
* Strong capability in risk and issue management with a focus on proactive identification and resolution.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Atlassian JIRA.
* Familiarity with government frameworks including gateway reviews, benefits realisation and reporting systems.
This role requires a strong background in project management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects within established government frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in project/program delivery within complex organisational environments, as well as relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner Agile PM PMP or equivalent).
