SRS is now looking for our next experts in Mill Relining. If you have wanted to get your foot into the door of the mining industry and get paid to travel around our great country this is your opportunity. We are now taking applications for Casual, Entry level Labouring/Relining positions through to Experienced Mill Reliners for shutdowns starting in January.

SRS have Shutdowns scheduled all throughout the year with immediate requirements for jobs locked in for January 2026 and beyond.
Relining is hard, physical, labour intensive work but if you have the right attitude and the will to succeed there are many opportunities to develop into our next Leading Hands and Supervisors.
About the roles:
* Shutdowns are DIDO from Geraldton.
* All Transportation provided.
* Travel time allowances are paid for all shuts.
* If you have your Car or MR truck licence and are allocated to drive to sites you will receive a higher travel allowance. (More Pay)
* Minimum 12 hour shifts when on shuts.
* Onsite Work is conducted 24/7 (Day and Night shifts)
* Rates of $36/hour for entry level roles to $47.00 per hour for highly experienced Reline Leading Hands
* Weekly Pay.
To be successful in the position:
* Reside in Geraldton or immediate surrounds
* Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold un-restricted working rights.
* C or MR class Drivers licence is not mandatory but highly valued and will result in being offered more work.
* Have a positive hard working attitude
* Be willing to listen, learn and have a go
* Candidates must have a Construction White Card before starting employment.
* Must be over 18, physically fit, willing and able to work 12 to 14 hour shifts (day & night)
* Applicants must demonstrate moderate fitness levels to perform the physical demands of this role effectively.
* Must be able to pass all employment medicals and drug and alcohol tests on a regular basis
* Must hold or have applied for a National Police Check within the last 12 months.
* Must have mobile phone and internet access for the purposes of communication and completing regular site inductions prior to shuts.
