**Part-Time HR Consultant**
- Location: 584 Ballarat Road, Albion VIC. 3020
- Reports To: CEO
- Job Type: Part-time

Job Summary:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Strategic HR Management:

- Partner with the CEO and management team to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leaders on various people-related matters.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company values and legal requirements.

Employee Relations and Culture:

- Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with Meir's core values: Trust & Respect, Above & Beyond, Positive Vibes, and Driven to Excel.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, managing conflicts and cultural issues proactively.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including social events and team-building activities.

Performance Management and Development:

- Collaborate with managers to develop clear KPIs and growth plans for all employees.
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive performance management system.
- Guide managers in conducting effective performance reviews and having difficult conversations when necessary.
- Develop and implement a reward system for achieving KPIs and targets.
- Create individual development plans for employees, aligning personal growth with company objectives.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse data to improve retention strategies.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on HR-related decisions to mitigate legal risks.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and implement necessary policy updates.

HR Operations and Reporting:

- Implement and manage HRIS systems to streamline HR processes.
- Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics for the CEO and management team.

Change Management:

- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and robust employee support.
- Communicate changes effectively to all staff members.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 3 years in a strategic HR position.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and best HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organisation.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with company values and objectives.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Employment Hero, ELMO, Culture Amp).
- AHRI certification preferred.
