As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers requiring specialized security solutions for their cloud services. Key job responsibilities Support the refinement of system requirements and develop operability-related features such as system health monitoring, diagnostics, repair, and automation. Develop or improve application and system management tools and processes to reduce manual efforts and increase efficiency. Adapt and improve operations management systems to handle growth in systems and traffic. Participate in designing and executing acceptance tests and hardware evaluations. Monitor system health, automate maintenance, and reporting systems as needed. Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents out-of-hours. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in automation for new and existing systems. Programming experience with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust. Experience with Linux/Unix systems. Experience operating high-availability, distributed applications, and performance tuning. Understanding of network fundamentals and monitoring frameworks. Scripting skills in Bash, Python, etc., and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
