ABOUT THE POSITION.
My client is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team, where you will gain hands-on experience delivering high-quality projects. In this role, you will assist with tendering processes, prepare and manage quality and construction plans, and develop designs, drawings, and innovative methods. You will also conduct site inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
DUTIES.
- Plan and manage complex projects from concept to delivery
- Develop and interpret detailed designs, drawings, and innovative construction methods
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders
- Design stormwater, drainage, flood modelling, water sensitive urban design (WSUD), and on-site detention (OSD)
- Support tender processes and carry out site inspections for safety and compliance
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Strong experience with CIVIL 3D, 12D, MUSIC, DRAINS or similar software
- Highly committed to continuous improvement and qualified growth
- Strong knowledge on of design standards, and relevant Australian codes
