About The Role

As a Business Development Manager and under the wing of an experienced Sales Leader, you will join a remote team of 25 fun-loving salespeople spread all across Australia who use virtual meetings and phone calls to manage relationships with our huge portfolio of existing residential Real Estate Agency clients.

Over the phone, you’ll develop relationships with Real Estate agencies that aren’t currently Domain customers, and rebuild relationships with those that used to be. You will work closely with Marketing and Customer Experience teams to optimise the inbound leads process.

In a Typical Day You Can Expect To

* Develop new relationships with Real Estate Agencies that are not currently Domain customers, and re-build connections with those that used to be.
* Work alongside an amazing team of Account Executives to grow business revenue and market share.
* Work closely with Marketing and Customer experience functions to optimise the inbound leads process.
* Become a trusted advisor to agencies for all things Proptech.
* Identify high‑impact opportunities and bring them to close, placing a priority on discovery and understanding client needs and capabilities.
* Continually connect with clients and industry partners to ensure Domain solutions remain relevant and desirable in a changing market.
* Act as an advocate for customers, influencing solution packages, and supporting marketing that aligns Domain solutions to needs.
* Be accountable for sales to designated Domain customer groups or portfolios, and achievement of sales goals.


Essential Qualifications

* Proven success in business development / sales.
* OR experience as a Real Estate Agency sales agent or similar.
* Excellent communication and ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
* Ability to negotiate and handle objections, driving win‑win outcomes and lasting partnerships.
* Precise time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and juggle tasks effectively.


Nice To Haves

* Virtual / phone‑based sales experience.
* Experience working in B2B sales environments.
* Real Estate or SaaS sales experience.
