What you'll be doing
* Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
* Perform administrative duties such as answering the phone to book appointments, data entry
* Provide excellent customer service to all patients
* Liaise with medical staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
* Maintain confidentiality of patient information
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
* Minimum 6 months of medical reception experience required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in using medical software and computer systems, preferably Best Practice
* Ability to work well independently with one Doctor
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
* Compassionate and patient‑focused approach
* Australian work rights required for this position
* Availability to work both evenings and weekends required for this after hours position
