The role involves working as a Casual Coal Quality Tester at a coal terminal in Bowen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with standard operating instructions.
* Enter validated results into the reporting system.
* Perform a range of analytical tests including Total Moisture.
* Conduct a range of physical tests including sample preparation, crushing, dividing, and sample storage.
Requirements:
* A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
* Good grasp of computers/technology including spreadsheets.
* Comfortable with manual handling duties.
* Ability to work to a flexible roster and willingness to work 12-hour day, day or night shifts.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Competent within a strong safety culture.
