Key Account Manager Job Description
This role is a critical interface with one of the world's leading resource companies. You will build and strengthen long-term relationships across multiple sites and functions, ensuring our products, technologies, and services are aligned with their operational and strategic priorities.
The successful applicant will be a resilient, self-motivated solutions finder with highly developed communication skills and emotional intelligence. They will have an understanding of how to balance customer advocacy with favourable commercial outcomes, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to find common ground with people approaching projects from differing perspectives.
Some key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Relationship Management: Building and maintaining trusted, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across multiple operations.
* Account Strategy & Execution: Developing and executing a comprehensive strategic account plan ensuring our solutions deliver measurable value.
* Innovation & Value Delivery: Identifying and promoting innovations that align with customer goals in safety, productivity, decarbonization, and digital transformation.
Qualifications & Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum 5 years' experience in strategic account management, technical sales, or mining services - preferably with major mining companies.
* A strong understanding of surface and/or underground mining operations.
* Demonstrated ability to manage high-value, complex customer relationships.
