Operations Centre Supervisor, Queensland Ambulance Service
The Operations Centre Supervisor (OCS) is a key role within the QAS Operations Centres, responsible for supervising and managing daily operations and staff to ensure efficient frontline service delivery.
This role supports the Director or Executive Manager in developing reforms and service improvements, contributing to the future direction of QAS service delivery. The supervisor ensures high-quality pre-hospital care and transport services are provided to the Queensland community, aligning with business objectives and performance indicators set by the Commissioner.

High-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of ICT infrastructure and systems supporting a modern emergency Operations Centre, with problem-solving skills for complex issues.
Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and business continuity planning.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing complex situations and implementing effective strategies.
Supervisory experience, including performance management and leading diverse teams under resource constraints.
Commitment to professional development, including maintaining credentialed OCS practice and certifications.
