Role
Seeking a Structural Engineer who lives for practical design engineering. If you're tired of theoretical office designs and want to see your work standing (and supporting thousands of tonnes) on-site next week, this is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
* Custom Design: Creating robust formwork and falsework solutions for complex bridge decks, piers, and tunnels.
* Tier 1 Collaboration: Liaising directly with site teams from head contractors to ensure designs are practical and safe.
* Engineering Validation: Running the math on temporary loads, wind forces, and ground bearing capacities.
* Site Inspections: Getting out of the office to sign off on your designs and ensure the build matches the blueprint.
Why You're a Great Fit
You've got a few years of structural design under your belt (valued temporary works or heavy civil experience).
The Software: You're highly proficient with AutoCAD, or similar structural analysis packages.
Communication: You're a "straight‐teller." You can explain a complex structural requirement to a Site Foreman as easily as to a Project Director.
The Credentials: You hold a Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering, working towards or already registered to NER.
