Procurement Operations Leadership Opportunity
This is a unique chance to lead the strategy, governance, and improvement of icare procurement. The role involves owning policies, data, and tools to drive compliant, agile, and sustainable procurement practices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement governance, policy, and process improvement. They should possess strong knowledge of NSW Government procurement requirements, proficiency with procurement systems and data/reporting tools, and strong analytics, reporting, and dashboard development skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining procurement governance frameworks aligned with NSW Government strategy.
* Improving procurement processes, guidelines, and category planning with Sourcing and Business teams.
* Managing the Strategic Partner Management Committee (SPMC), including governance, reporting, and action tracking.
* Overseeing and optimising procurement systems and tools to enhance user experience, compliance, and data quality.
* Providing regular reporting on procurement activity, performance, risks, and outcomes to executive committees and NSW Procurement.
* Supporting capability uplift through training, communication, and business partnering.
* Building strong external relationships, especially with NSW Procurement, to support policy alignment.
* Driving continuous improvement across procurement processes and ways of working.
