Job Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional and dedicated individual to contribute to the success of our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional HR support, comprehensive guidance, and expert counsel to our portfolio of properties across Australia and New Zealand. Located in our Corporate Office in Maroochydore, this position will work closely with a team of professional, experienced, and supportive HR colleagues.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Provide expert and knowledgeable advice to management and employees on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal regulations.
* Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of properties in Australia and New Zealand, providing timely HR support and fostering a collaborative environment.
* Handle employee matters sensitively and proactively, addressing grievances, and disciplinary actions while striving to maintain a harmonious environment.
* Assist in the performance management process, ensuring development plans to enhance employee performance and professional growth.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining accurate records at all times.
* Ensure HR budgetary compliance within the assigned portfolio's rostering, annual leave accrual, and salaries and wages.
* Assist in preparing relevant documentation for employer-nominated visa sponsorship applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
High-level written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally.
Ability to achieve goals in the face of obstacles and cope effectively with change, setbacks, and disappointments and remain calm and controlled under pressure.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ability to work with a sense of urgency.
Ability to deal sensitively and maturely with confidential, personal information and records.
