Child Care Worker (Group Leader)
Geelong Children’s Centre is a community not for profit childcare providing high quality skilled care and education to individual child.
We are now looking for a skilful full time (at least 38 hours per week) Child Care Worker (Group Leader) to join our centre.
Responsibilities
Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children;
Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits;
Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care;
Ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime;
Managing children's behaviour and to guide social development of children;
Preparation of materials for children's educational and recreational activities;
Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents' or guardians' attention
Arrange childcare or educational settings to ensure physical safety of children
Perform general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance, editing internal paperwork, and making phone calls
Manage and supervise other educators and workers duties and activities;
Maintain records of every children, including daily observations and information;
Requirement:
At least 2 years relevant experience
Possess a skilled and enthusiastic attitude.
Have high standards of personal presentation.
Be committed to continual development and improvement both professionally and personally.
Be a positive person who will develop robust relationships with families, children, colleagues and the community in an inclusive manner.

Position: Full Time
Salary: $70,000 - 90,000 per year
