About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead our high-performing operations team. This key role is responsible for overseeing day‐to‐day production activities, driving safety‐first culture, managing resources, and ensuring every project meets our quality standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and coach production staff to meet current and future operational demands
* Foster a high‐performance culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning
* Ensure all team members are appropriately qualified and trained to perform their roles
* Promote a strong safety culture through safety walks, activities and initiatives
* Identify and lead process improvement opportunities across operations
* Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Operations Manager
* Allocate resources effectively to meet both short‐ and long‐term operational requirements
About You
A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys developing people and improving processes, you will have:
* Experience in the Manufacturing and/or Building industries
* Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams
* Trade Certification and/or tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Work Health & Safety, or Project Management (or equivalent experience)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience with safety management systems
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
* Excellent problem‐solving, organisational, and decision‐making abilities
* Proven experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements
