Project Management Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our product development and services projects.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and support diverse teams to achieve agreed business outcomes using effective program management approaches within an Agile environment. This will involve collaborating with strategic customer teams and business leaders to develop and maintain program governance, identify and manage program risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
You will ensure all projects and the overall program are successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, and integrated where appropriate. Additionally, you will provide overarching transparency of our portfolio of work.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and reporting on the predictable delivery of agreed business outcomes using effective program management approaches within an Agile organization.
* Ensuring the consistent application of project governance and compliance processes across programs and related projects.
* Preparing and integrating progress and other reports for governance boards using data derived from project and financial management tools, product development processes, and other business data, with support from Product Managers.
* Developing program/project schedules from workshops, resourcing plans, statements of work, and managing agreed work from initiation to closure.
* Developing and managing overall program and individual project budgets, establishing regular program status and revenue reporting, managing financial aspects of all projects to achieve agreed business outcomes.
* Ensuring appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place to address potential areas of concern.
About You:
We are looking for a professional, well-organized self-starter with experience working on multiple projects across a wide portfolio. You will display exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport, influence, and negotiate with all levels of staff (both internal and external) and work with ambiguity.
You will have:
1. An Agile mindset, with a focus on outcome-driven delivery.
2. Tertiary qualification in Business Management or Information Technology with certification in Program/Project Management.
3. Experience with Cloud migration/AWS Infrastructure transition programs/projects.
4. Experience defining/developing business or technology strategy.
5. Experience working in SaaS commercial/operational environments.
6. At least 5 to 10 years' experience managing project teams (experience managing large, complex multi-stakeholder programs and agile delivery an advantage).
7. Advanced, clearly demonstrated experience in:
* Scheduling, resource, risk, and financial management.
* Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
* Project Management tools (FinancialForce desirable).
* Atlassian products - JIRA and Confluence.
* Working in IT environments and/or managing system deployments.
Highly Desirable:
* Experience with Bid and Sales Management.
* Experience with Commercial and Contract Management.
* Experience with FinancialForce.
* Experience working with Government agencies.
