Russo Higher Education (RHE) Pty Ltd are seeking a proactive, client‐focused WIL Administrator (Placements Officer) to help coordinate and deliver high‐quality student placements that align with course and accreditation requirements across James Cook University's Brisbane campus. This is working within James Cook University Brisbane which is a campus of James Cook University operated in partnership with RHE.
About the opportunity
As the WIL Administrator, you will manage end‐to‐end administration of the InPlace platform, maintain accurate student, staff and partner records, and produce data and reports that inform decision‐making. You will deliver accurate placement advice to staff, students and partners, assess student eligibility against course, policy and host requirements, and monitor/document placement activity in our databases. Strong stakeholder engagement and attention to detail are essential.
What you will do
* Oversee the full administration of InPlace: configuration, allocation, user management, and record accuracy; maintain and extract data/reports.
* Provide high‐quality, accurate placement advisory services to staff, students and placement partners.
* Collaborate with WIL teams across JCU campuses to ensure placement partner agreements remain current and productive; nurture relationships with external organisations, industry partners and providers.
* Assess and monitor student placement eligibility in line with course requirements, policy/procedures and host needs.
* Monitor, document and report on placement activity; maintain student placement databases.
What you will bring
* Current knowledge and experience working with InPlace.
* A degree and/or significant relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education/training).
* Experience in a high‐volume administrative environment handling client issues and sensitive matters—ideally in student placements or higher education.
* Strong analytical/problem‐solving skills to manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
* Effective written and verbal communication; a customer‐centric approach that delivers positive outcomes.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with intermediate proficiency across Microsoft 365 and Adobe.
