About the role
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Handyman / Caretaker for the German Lutheran Trinity Church in East Melbourne. This casual role (estimated 8 hours per week) will involve a diverse range of maintenance and handyman tasks across the residential property and the church / hall.
What you'll be doing
· Performing general property maintenance and repairs, including light carpentry, painting, and gardening
· Adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
· experience as a multi-skilled Handyman
· knowledge of general property maintenance
· good problem-solving skills
· ability to work independently
· commitment to quality work
· physically fit and able to lift and maneuver equipment
· have own transport and tools
· good verbal communication skills in English and/or German
About us
The German Lutheran Trinity Church is a well-established German speaking church community in East Melbourne. Part of the church grounds are the church building, a separate church hall and a town house with a car park at the back.
