Clinical Nurse Educator - Surgical Wards (516775) Department of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals NthLaunceston General HospitalApplications must be submitted by Tuesday 17 June, :55 PMTuesday 17 June, :55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 6$114,851 to $121,886 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Part Time Region: North Location: LGH Charles Street, LauncestonSeeking Clinical Nurse Educator within Ward 5B, Surgical Ward to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce and ancillary staff as a part of the health care team by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education programs in the clinical inpatient surgical ward.Clinical Nurse Educator - Surgical Wards (Ward 5B)The Role:The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator - Surgical Wards (Ward 5B) is to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce and ancillary staff as a part of the health care team by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education programs in the clinical inpatient surgical ward (Ward 5B).The Team:5B is a fast-paced surgical ward with a strong interdisciplinary team focused on best patient care and outcomes.5B patient cohort includes the Orthopaedic, ENT, Plastics, Gynaecology and general surgical specialitiesThe role of CNE on Ward 5B works in close collaboration with the Nursing leadership team across the ward and the wider Department of Surgery to support exemplary evidence based and patient centred care.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Why Tasmania:The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services.
