Physiotherapist (home care)

The Physiotherapist will use clinical expertise and skills to provide highly responsive person‐centred care in a home care setting. They will independently undertake assessments, design personalized programs and strategies to maximise client function, independence and quality of life.

• Independently and professionally undertake assessments of clients within the home care setting.
• Determine individual capabilities and apply specialist knowledge to design personalized programs, treatments and strategies.
• Assess and manage common concerns including decreased mobility, falls and pain‐related issues.
• Support client comfort and independence, assisting formal and informal carers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team planning and contribute to service development and quality improvement.
• Oversee junior staff and Allied Health Assistants as required.

• Recognised tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrated experience working in home care and residential aged care.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent clinical, time‐management, organisational and communication skills.
• Professional written, oral and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Resilient, compassionate, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client‐centred care.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations consistent with public health orders.
• Current National Police Check Certificate.
• Current drivers' licence.

Location: Geelong. Employment type: Full time, 9am–5pm.
