Join an established brand with international reach, contributing to APAC strategy while leading a high-performing finance function across multiple jurisdictions.Role Profile: Reporting to and supporting the Global CFO (overseas), you will ensure local financial goals and objectives are achieved, covering financial and management reporting, compliance and statutory obligations, and commercial planning and analysis.Responsibilities Assess APAC commercial initiatives, business performance & profitability and market trends.Act as the strategic finance lead for the APAC business, working with a cross-functional leadership team to achieve revenue targets and sustainable market growth.Be a key participant in global finance initiatives, including an upcoming rollout of a new ERP.Oversee the APAC finance team's day-to-day operations (20+ staff across ANZ + SEA) in coordination with four direct reports.Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory accounts, taxation and regulatory obligations for each market.Manage treasury functions, including cash flow modelling and forecasting, and maintain reliable cash flow projections and reporting.Maintain external relationships with auditors, banks, regulators, financiers, etc.Deliver a comprehensive management reporting pack on time.Analyze P&L KPIs tracking sales, margins, costs, etc.Drive monthly consolidation of international entities into group reporting.Prepare monthly board back and supporting documentation.Monitor business performance against long-term financial plans.Things to consider carefully A small element of domestic travel is required for this role.Reporting offshore; conference calls often occur late in the afternoon.
The environment is flexible, allowing time to reclaim elsewhere.Successful Candidate Profile CA/CPA qualified with strong technical grounding and commercial savvy.Experience in hospitality, hotel, travel, aviation or cruise line sectors is highly beneficial.Experience managing a mix of onshore and offshore staff is advantageous.Chartered Accounting grounding is preferred but not essential.Proven people skills and experience as the finance representative on an executive leadership team or board.Salary expectations align with $200,000 + Superannuation + Bonus.Why Apply?
