Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills to support patients post operatively during the recovery phase and prepare them for return to ward.
The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy environment where no two days are the same. They will provide evidenced based nursing care, liaise with the multi-disciplinary team, ensure patient and staff safety, supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care, and deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse within PACU
* Certified in post-operative nursing or working towards/willing to obtain
* Current Advance Life Support
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care
* Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skill
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Works well independently and within a team
