We’re looking for a Product Designer to take real ownership of that work. This role suits someone who is comfortable moving between the creative and the commercial. You think carefully about what you’re designing and why, you’re across the detail, and you understand that a great product has to be both well-made and buildable within real-world constraints. The Role Working closely with the Senior Design Manager and the Production team, you’ll take products from initial concept through to in-store delivery. The role spans creative direction, technical execution, supplier relationships and some team leadership. Day to day, you’ll be: Developing product concepts with a clear point of view — creative, commercial, and unmistakably Hommey Reading global trends and local signals to shape a range direction that’s fresh and relevant Producing detailed, accurate tech packs that leave no room for misinterpretation Building and maintaining strong supplier and factory relationships Owning the critical path end to end with the Production Manager, from idea to in store Presenting ranges confidently to the broader business and leadership, including the Founder and CEO Mentoring the junior designer, growing their craft, confidence and commercial thinking Keeping cross-functional teams aligned so there are no surprises and every handover is clean Who We're Looking For We’re looking for someone with a strong design eye and the practical skills to back it up. You’re comfortable with the full process and take quality seriously at every stage. You’ll likely have: 5 years of product design experience, ideally in homewares or a related category A tertiary qualification in fashion, textile or product design, with a portfolio showing your process end to end Solid proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, with experience producing tech packs Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and a willingness to mentor a junior designer Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams without things slipping An understanding of when to push a design idea and when the commercial reality needs to take priority Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams Why Join Hommey?
