What You'll Drive
The Principal Financial Accountant provides a specialised level of skills, knowledge and experience derived from a substantial record in the workplace or through acquisition of qualifications or both, responsible for corporate & statutory accounting functions.
The incumbent reports into the Manager, Corporate Accounting with responsibility for supporting high level, complex financial analysis and assessment, making extensive and expert use of corporate applications to assist with meeting compliance requirements and objectives.
The Skills You Bring
* Significant experience in a senior financial accounting role.
* Significant experience in leading services that deliver statutory financial statements preparation in compliance with accounting standards, complex financial investigations and accounting assessments including the preparation of reports and recommendations.
* High level knowledge of contemporary financial accounting principles and accounting standards.
* Qualifications: CA, CPA or CIMA.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
