This role is responsible for the planning, setup, and operation of testing environments used to evaluate retail technologies — such as: point-of-sale (POS) systems, mobile devices, payment solutions, kiosks, network hardware, or store software — before they are rolled out in retail stores and outlets. Responsible for management of the Non-Production Retail Test Lab, ensuring the stable operation of the organisation's Non- Production Retail systems. Ensures the delivery of a full end-to-end service which adheres to agreed service levels. Services include deployments, maintenance and provisioning required within the Non-Production Retail Test Lab. Works closely with Test Managers, Leads, Testers, Test Environment Managers, Program Managers, Delivery Leads, BAU Retails Teams and key Retail Business Stakeholders to ensure the appropriate pre-production environments are provided to an agreed timeline and budget for what they require. Essential Experience: Industry and Function · Working knowledge and proven track record in planning and delivering Non Production Environments · Understanding of SDLC and release management · Advanced Problem Management experience in root cause analysis & problem rectification · Good at resolving conflict and addresses disagreements and differences with respect and efficiency. Critical Knowledge: Market and Environment Demonstrated technical knowledge in SAP, Microsoft applications, and cloud technologies, e.g AWS, Azure, familiarity with UEM (Unified Endpoint Management). A strong understanding of Internet working and application dependency models.
