Teaching Opportunity

* NESA registration to teach in NSW is required
* A Special Education qualification is preferred
* Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with other intellectual disability is desirable
* A current NSW Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment is essential
* In some cases, having a current driver's licence may be necessary
* A Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence is desirable
* An international police clearance may be requested
About this role
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students with autism spectrum disorder.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to develop and deliver quality learning programs that promote student engagement and academic success.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development of teaching resources and strategies to support students with autism spectrum disorder.
Key requirements
* Bachelor degree in a relevant field
* Registration with NESA as a qualified teacher
* Special Education qualifications are highly regarded
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
