As Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing commercial and strategic procurement direction across a number of portfolios.

This includes responsibility for providing specialist advice to stakeholders in the planning and execution of key procurement initiatives, with a focus on achieving high quality and value sourcing outcomes for Flybuys.

• Work collaboratively with team members to develop procurement strategies that align to the Flybuys corporate strategy.
• Oversee sourcing activities to ensure alignment to governance, sustainable and social procurement principles.
• Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process.
• Promote Flybuys procurement obligations that ensure value for money principles are consistently applied.
• Ensure effective communication and training of your key stakeholders on Flybuys procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance to procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in upskilling the organisation in procurement best practice by working with the procurement Lead to deliver training and build procurement capability across Flybuys.
• Assist the Procurement Lead in the delivery of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program.
• Drive category strategy development and execution for spend categories within your portfolios.
• Provide advice and guidance to team members on appropriate approach to market methods.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers within your portfolios.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of business objectives to supply requirements.
• Measure and report on outcomes achieved including cost benefits, performance improvements and other sustainable organisational benefits for your category(s).
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure ongoing continuous improvement and mitigate any supply risks for Flybuys.

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement-based roles.
• A degree or specialist qualification in commerce, business or finance is required.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing with strong skills in market analysis and supplier negotiation.
• Ability to work autonomously with confidence and manage and prioritise multiple tasks in an efficient manner within a past paced environment.
• Attention to detail coupled with high level problem solving, decision-making and analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, both internal and external and the ability to build and nurture solid relationships.
