Job Title: ICT Acquisition Specialist
Our client seeks a highly skilled and dedicated ICT acquisition specialist to facilitate the procurement of information and communication technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-level service and deliver business requirements within tight timeframes.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an ICT procurement role, with expertise in software, hardware, and ICT services acquisition. They should also possess experience in publishing briefs on DTA Marketplace, drafting work orders, and change orders using templates. Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of the Commonwealth's ICT sourcing practices and be able to provide sound advice on moderately complex issues.
The selected candidate will be required to research and analyze complex issues, providing timely and accurate advice to stakeholders. They should also have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate mutually productive working relationships. Adaptability and resilience are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to prioritize delivery of outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
While not mandatory, it is desirable for the candidate to be proficient in financial reporting and hold a Certificate IV in Government Procurement and Contracting or higher.
