As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Multi Skilled Civil Operator to join our dedicated team.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment and be capable of performing a wide range of tasks related to plant operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain a variety of plant equipment, including but not limited to excavators, posi tracks, rollers and water carts.
* Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
* Monitor equipment performance and identify and report any issues or abnormalities.
* Assist in the setup and shutdown of plant operations as needed.
* Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
* Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve goals and objectives.
* Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, dockets and other relevant information.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Plant Operator or similar role in a civil construction company.
* Tickets / VOC for Posi track, Excavator, Roller and Water Cart.
* GPS Experience (Essential)
* Final Trim Experience (Essential)
* Current HR Driver's license.
* Understanding of basic construction activities and methods.
* Good knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in plant operations.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
* Physical stamina to work long hours.
