Synergie is seeking a Caretaker at Anglevale and Aldinga.
Join our client – a global facility services provider, working in partnership with schools and educational institutions to ensure clean, safe, and functional environments that support learning and growth.
3 Days per week for approximately 4 weeks (possible extension) commencing from 8th September 2025.
Must have Working with Children Check to qualify.
Pay Rate: $32.18
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment
* Perform minor repairs, basic handyman tasks, and report any maintenance issues
* Open and secure the premises daily, including unlocking gates, turning on lights/heating, and activating security systems
* Maintain outdoor areas including sweeping paths, emptying bins, and basic gardening
* Monitor and report any safety hazards or security concerns
* Support contractors and maintenance staff on-site, as needed
* Ensure compliance with WHS standards and school policies
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or facilities support role
* Ability to use basic tools and perform general repairs
* Strong awareness of safety, security, and hygiene standards
* Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) – required
* Driver's license- required
