Job Summary:
The Electrical Foreman/Leading Hand plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of site works, ensuring timely completion of projects in accordance with the construction program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure optimal utilisation and monitoring of site resources (labour, machinery, materials, sub-contractors etc.) to achieve project milestones.
* Delegate tasks to direct reports based on their skill sets, knowledge, and ability, and identify skill gaps and training requirements as necessary.
* Carefully manage plant and equipment hire-in and off-hire processes to maintain efficiency.
* Coach and mentor direct reports to enhance their positions and contribute to team growth.
* Communicate relevant information effectively to direct reports and sub-contractors to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior/supervisory role.
* Substantial experience working in Civil/Electrical Construction environments.
* Unrestricted MR Drivers Licence, White Card, LVR, and QLD Electrical Licence.
* Transport and Main Roads Experience is highly valued.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand electrical and construction drawings.
