We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to take on the role of Lead Pre-Operative Nurse Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, management, and support to the Pre-operative nursing team, ensuring that it is evidence-based, patient-centered, and of a high standard.
Main duties of the job
* The post holder will have the responsibility for the development, implementation, and co-ordination of pre-operative assessment across the trust.
* Act as an autonomous practitioner with referring authority.
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of pre-operative practitioners in delivering a quality efficient service.
The pre-assessment team works on both sites of the Trust, consisting of trained practitioners, health care assistants, and clerical staff. The team is small, friendly, and supportive, and they pride themselves on delivering the best possible care to patients in the community.
About the Team
The team serves a population of over 600,000 with a workforce of over 10,500 dedicated and skilled staff across 21 sites.

They provide a range of services including acute care, primary care, and specialist regional services.
