Maintenance Relief Team Leaders are responsible for leading frontline operations and ensuring a safe working environment.
About the Role:
The relief team leader is required to motivate, inspire, and keep the team safe and well. They will work closely with the team leader to achieve safety, people, and growth objectives through planning and executing maintenance activities.
* Demonstrate personal and team behaviour that meets or exceeds company visions and models for leadership.
* Foster a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Lead or support shift start meetings.
* Perform scheduled field leadership and infield activities.
* Support onboarding and training of new team members.
* Escalate people, safety, and work-related concerns with the team leader and assist with resolving issues in line with company policies.
* Integrate relevant safety routines and risk assessment processes into daily routines and behaviours.
* Support notification management and job planning.
* Support the team by providing coverage for the team leader for periods less than 2 weeks.
Qualifications:
* A demonstrated commitment to safety.
* Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset.
* Relevant Australian 'A' grade Electrical licence or Mechanical qualification.
* Current valid C Class driver's licence.
* Ability to problem-solve and ask the right questions.
* Passion for developing and motivating your team.
* Motivation to move into a team leader role in the future.
