We are currently looking for two reliable and hardworking Carpenter Labourers to join our construction team on a 2-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to transition into an ongoing role for the right candidate. Your new role Reporting to the Lead Carpenter, you will support the construction team with carpentry assistance, general labouring duties, site setup, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works well within a team. Key Responsibilities Carpentry Support Assist carpenters with assembling and installing timber structures and playground components Prepare and organise tools, materials, and equipment Support framing, decking, cladding, and finishing tasks Measure, cut, and prepare materials accurately Operate hand and power tools safely Load and unload materials efficiently Site Maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite Assist with daily site setup and pack down Store tools and materials correctly Health & Safety Follow all workplace health and safety procedures Attend toolbox talks and pre-start meetings Wear PPE and report hazards promptly Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with carpenters, supervisors, and team members Communicate respectfully and professionally Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude About you To be considered for this role, you will have the following: Previous construction or carpentry labouring experience preferred Basic understanding of carpentry tools and materials Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Reliable and punctual Ability to follow instructions and work safely A valid White Card.
